1. Become a Freelancer

Once you know what skills you have, you will have more of an idea about what job you would like. Reach out to people directly through Facebook and LinkedIn groups, cold email small companies who could avail of your services and create a profile on platforms such as Upwork and Fiverr. If you would like to get serious, create your own website.
2. Start a Blog or a Vlog
Start your own blog or post on other people's blogs. Guest posting will earn around $20 - $50 per post. You can start with sites such as Travelicious. The sky is the limit with vlogging as you can earn lots of money if your Youtube videos get enough views.
3. Create things to sell on Etsy
Etsy is where you can buy homemade goods and small trinkets. Are you especially creative? Don't let your talent go to waste. Those blankets you knit for your dog could make you a small fortune on Etsy.
4. Pick up a paid writing gig
You can become a writer. Apply for writing positions through Facebook groups and other social media platforms. You can also search for writing positions in startups on sites such as AngelList. If you are just starting out, give Upwork a go. You may have to set low prices to begin with but once you get some good reviews, you can charge more.
5. Teach English online
Teaching english online is quite lucrative. As a native english speaker, you can earn anywhere from $10 to $25 an hour. You will need an online TEFL course and sometimes a BA. You can easily create your own video courses on Udemy or similar platforms. If you don't feel like giving away a cut of your own hard work then you can create a website for your courses and market them yourself.
